It's been awfully quiet around here lately, but there are some good reasons for that.
1) I just completed a short story called The Golden Kingdom: Wildcat's Choice and submitted it for consideration to an anthology. (news on this as it unfolds)
2) Still hard at work on The Golden Kingom's second installment, but got a little sidetracked with Wildcat and something also very important...
3) Welcome to Phoenix One Media! Home to The Golden Kingdom series, Freelancer, and the rest of Jeremy Jaynes' upcoming work.

The Golden Kingdom (Book 2) Update
October 2011![]()
Just a quick note to let everyone know I am furiously working away on book 2 of The Golden Kingdom series.
So, fear not! The second installment is on its way.
I am shooting to have it ready for publication sometime in the first quarter of 2012. Check back for updates or follow me on Twitter where I post often about my progress.
In the meantime, a little teaser we've thrown together:

In our adventures in literary travel, we've met a lot of great people. So, every now and again I like to point my readers at other talented writers out there. On the heels of GenCon, I will have a table at Wizard World's Comic Con in Chicago. Click the picture below for more information.
For readers of Science Fiction/Fantasy, you can hardly go wrong with following Michael R. Hicks. You can find his website at:

Don't believe me? Check out the reviews on Amazon for his "In Her Name" series.

Thanks to all those that stopped by our booth and to Wizard World for such a great show! The Chicago Comic Con is always a blast and this year was no different.
Please feel free to check out the Freelancer by Jeremy Jaynes page on Facebook to see some of the photos we took.
Also, check out this FANTASTIC artwork Hack/Slash creator Tim Seeley sketched of my character "Free" from Freelancer meeting Cassie Hack from his comic book Hack/Slash. As you can see, Cassie is a fan of The Golden Kingdom, but maybe not Freelancer so much.

I also did a feeble attempt at colorizing the sketch. Not bad for no artistic skills.

*UPDATE*
Thanks to all those who stopped by our booth and made it a great success. And a special thanks to Kelly R. Martin of Myth/Logic Press for being a great con neighbor. You can check out his work at the Myth/Logic Press website here.
Also, if you were unable to get a copy of The Golden Kingdom: Z or Freelancer at GenCon, keep in mind they are both available online at all major bookstores. Some links have even been provided on The Golden Kingdom and Freelancer pages.
**Original Post**
I will have a table at GenCon in Indianapolis. Any of those in attendence feel free to stop by Author's Avenue. I will be at table Q right by the registers.
You can find a handy map here.
